Nelson Bay Ironbark
Nelson Bay Ironbark is light to dark red in colour and brings a richness to each design with its tight and figured grain. Natural variation can be seen in the heartwood's deep red tones contrasting with the distinctive pale yellow sapwood, as well as occasional gum veins and knots. The exceptional density of this timber means the character from its past life are minimal.
Marine Rescue Extra Wide
Marine Rescue brings an array of rich dark tones from deep red-brown to a lighter chocolate brown. Grain movement varies significantly with this timber parcel with straight, wavy and even fiddleback figured grain common. Gum pockets and splits are expected and embraced as features of Australian Spotted gum.
Woolloomooloo V1
Woolloomooloo Rustic Brown is a Blackbutt that has been weathered by Sydney’s Harbour water. Being a Blackbutt, its moderate density allows for a slow weathering that can be worked to bring about two different looks. Pictured is the cleaner less rustic version that shows softer warmer tones. Pink and browns are present with some mineral streaking and nail holes. Surface texture is very soft and smooth as most of the rustic texture has been sanded out. View Woolloomooloo V2 for a darker rustic finish.
Victoria Park
Victoria Park is a softer Ash, deeply weathered by the elements to reveal rich, dark brown hues. Subtle tonal variations and a gentle surface texture add depth and authenticity to this raw, character-filled timber. Its substantial 70mm solid thickness makes a bold statement, offering strength and distinction in any application.
Marsden
Marsden Blackbutt is true to all Blackbutt characteristics with colour ranging from heartwood from golden yellow to pale brown with occasional slight pinkish tones and sapwood much paler. It has an even texture with small gum veins present. Grain can be interlocked but it is generally straight.
Crown St
Crown Street Blackbutt shows golden yellow to pale brown tones with little of the pink undertone Blackbutt is known for. It has an exceptionally even texture, some gum veins and generally straight even grain. Reclaimed character includes nail holes, mineral streaking and some rough sawn markings.
