Description
The Rustic Wool Table embodies Thomas Keith's design philosophy of simplicity and premium materials. Inspired by a long history of restoring Australian wool classing tables, we designed our own interpretation that balances rich history with refined craftsmanship.
Crafted from recycled Australian hardwood wool shed slats, Wharf timber from Woolloomooloo, Sydney, and telegraph pole legs, this version showcases our Rustic surface preparation. The timber is hand-prepared to retain its rawness, character, and history. Natural textures, weathering, and variations are embraced, giving the surface an organic, lived-in feel.
The timber’s character speaks for itself, allowing the design to remain understated yet thoughtful. Slats are recessed deeply into the frame to allow a glass insert (not included) to sit flush with the surface.
Hand-finished in a clear semi-matte hard wax oil, this piece will grow more beautiful with age and everyday use.
Made in Orange, Australia, Thomas Keith pieces are built to last, bringing warmth, honesty, and storytelling into your everyday spaces.
