Crafted from solid recycled Australian hardwood this Dalton was bought to life using a small selection of timber salvaged from Marsden High School Sydney. Most of this parcel was Blackbutt with lots of honey pink brown tones. However we had a few sticks that were lighter in colour thought to be Spotted Gum.
The timber’s pale blonde tones, are complemented by light long straight grains. Pin holes, gum pockets and squiggly bark marks are present bringing depth, warmth, and character to any home. Floating breadboard ends and curved skirt details showcase the thoughtful design and unique artistry involved in working with reclaimed materials.
Hand-finished in a clear semi-matte hard-wax oil, each piece is made to grow more beautiful with age and everyday use.
