DESCRIPTION: Woolloomooloo Rustic Brown is a Blackbutt that has been weathered by Sydney’s Harbour water. Being a Blackbutt, its moderate density allows for a slow weathering that can be worked to bring about two different looks. Pictured is the cleaner less rustic version that shows softer warmer tones. Pink and browns are present with some mineral streaking and nail holes. Surface texture is very soft and smooth as most of the rustic texture has been sanded out. FINISH: Hard wax oil.

Care + maintenance 

Recycled Australian hardwood brings a wide range of colour, texture and character. Variation in individual timber parcels will influence the final finished product. Material samples and images serve as a guide to the species and finish crafted by Thomas Keith. Variation across tones and texture is to be expected.
